This Chrome extension analyzes images you upload to X (formerly Twitter) and automatically generates descriptive alt text. When you open the ‘Edit image description’ screen, a ‘Generate alt text’ button appears. Clicking it uses OpenAI’s Vision API (gpt-4-vision-preview) to create and insert the alt text. You must provide your own OpenAI API key in the options. The extension does not collect or track your data.
